YOGA FOR HEALTH AND EDUCATION TRUST LIMITED
SUMMARY of TERMS & CONDITIONS for MEMBERSHIP & EVENTS
Membership Our Articles of Association are available on request. Membership is non refundable.
Data Protection From time to time we will send you information about our activities. If at any time you do not wish to receive these you can unsubscribe by going into the newsletter option. We may also inform you of products or services from other like minded organisations that we think may be of interest. We will not pass your details onto these organisations without your permission.
Bookings We welcome participation from all. We are committed to ensuring that all customers including disabled participants and guests are given every opportunity to participate, so we ask that you tell us about any relevant disability, medical condition & dietary requirement at the time of booking. This will enable us to do our best to meet your particular needs. We will let you know on the website/booking form if for some reason the event may present difficulty for those with a particular disability. Your booking is only guaranteed once full payment is received. We will send you confirmation of your place by email if booked via the website/phone or by post if booked by post, and any further information necessary for joining the course.
Cancellation Policy As a small, charitable organisation, we cannot afford to withstand losses due to cancellations made by members/non-members.
For your information, our cancellation policy for all courses (residential, Fundamentals, day courses, weekend courses) is as follows:
Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Upon the payment of any deposit to secure a booking, the participant will be liable for the payment of their course fees in full, before the start of that training and regardless of whether they complete the training or not.
Full course/event fees will be due 2 weeks before the commencement of the course/event. If payment is not made by the due date, the place may be allocated to another participant and the deposit will be forfeited.
Should the member cancel the course/event, for any reason, including ill health, course fees cannot be returned. Therefore YHET advises all participants, particularly those prone to unpredictable episodes of ill health, to purchase personal insurance which will reimburse them in the event of having to cancel.
It may be possible for a participant to transfer a booking if a medical certificate is provided or if the place can be filled by another participant. A course booking may only be transferred once, and the new place must be taken up within one year.
Should YHET have to cancel a course/event the participant will receive a refund or a transfer certificate for another YHET course/event (whichever the participant prefers) for the full amount of fees paid.
In the unlikely event of a course being cancelled, YHET will not be liable for any expenses incurred by the participant associated with joining that course.
YHET reserves the right to change details of courses/events without advance notice, and to ask a student to leave the course (without recompense) if their behaviour is inappropriate.
This policy will be reviewed by the Board of Trustees annually.
